Synopsis

The modern real estate market in Ukraine could effectively play the role of stabilizer of the national economy in crisis conditions. It is the real estate market called the "locomotive of the economy." The macroeconomic impact of the real estate market on the general state of the economy is significant for all economically developed countries. The Ukrainian real estate market should probably not be an exception. The stabilizing function of this market is growing in economic crises for at least two reasons. First, economic agents perceive real estate as the most reliable asset compared to, for example, various types of financial assets. Second, it is the real estate market that is becoming a "powerful magnet" for investment. This should increase job growth and the development of real estate-related industries. This section examines the problem of improving market infrastructure and certain types of business activities to ensure its stability and organic interaction with other industry markets.
