Journalism in Hungary: general and special

The monograph analyzes the general and special features of journalism in Hungary, starting from the XVII century and ending with the present. It shows how Hungarian journalism was born, formed and developed during these times. Particular attention is paid to the print media, newspapers and magazines, examples of the work of journalists in different political conditions. New forms of journalism were also studied: the Internet, blogs and Twitter in Hungary and their impact on the media sphere. It is emphasized that throughout the existence of journalism in Hungary, the authorities have always sought to use the media for their own purposes.
For students, graduate students, teachers of journalism, international relations of universities and all those who are interested in the history of the media and Hungary.
